Comic book king Stan Lee debuted his Sky television series, Lucky Man, in January 2016, which was filmed from June-November 2015.

It follows the story of washed-up homicide detective Harry Clayton, played by James Nesbitt, who is granted the power to control luck – hands up who’d love that power? The show introduces audiences to locations across London that may be less familiar than its iconic landmarks (bye bye Big Ben), including Dagenham’s Science Park. Comprising four large, empty laboratory buildings, The Science Park in Dagenham features multiple lab spaces, scrub areas, office spaces and much more, and is surrounded by a vast amount of land, suitable for external shooting opportunities and for unit bases. Lucky Man’s director commented that Barking and Dagenham was the most ‘film-friendly’ borough he had ever filmed in. We’ll take that!
