A striking Elizabethan merchant’s house and gardens.
This brick-built Tudor gentry house was completed about 1573, and has remained virtually untouched. Inside, the venue is decorated with 17th-century wall paintings and roaring open fires.

There is limited parking on site, but a unit base can be sourced nearby.

- This location features evocative exposed timbers in the attic, a fine original spiral oak staircase in turret, cobbled courtyard, and peaceful walled garden with bee boles.
- When planning your shoot, it’s worth bearing in mind that we will need to get extra permissions for dressing requirements as this is a National Trust building
